LCD Displays at Jersey Airport

The Airport have now installed 3 x 46” LCD screens (1 on each of the baggage belts) The network will carry a limited number of advertisers with category exclusivity. In addition to advertising, the digital screens display relevant travel information to attract passenger attention and encourage consumer engagement. 

The Marketing Bureau provide sponsorship for The Battle of Flowers 2007

The Marketing Bureau were proud to be involved in this years Battle of Flowers in providing the main sponsor for the event in the form of Xmile – the environmentally friendly fuel. Visit www.xmile.co.uk.

Why Xmile sponsored the Battle:

Xmiles Managing Director, John Harrison, said they had decided to support and sponsor this year’s parade as the event is in keeping with their eco friendly fuel.

He said, “ The Battle is a fantastic exhibition of the beauty of nature at work ….. unfortunately our environment is changing and I think it’s fair to say that many of us are shocked by the severity of climate change and the dramatic differences in our once very reliable seasons. These days we must all be aware of our responsibility to become more environmentally friendly, and we hope that by supporting the battle of Flowers we can raise public awareness that there is an opportunity now to buy a real eco-friendly fuel that works”.

Andy Priaulx is Xmile’s and The Marketing Bureau’s guest

Andy Priaulx the former European and current double world touring car champion and personal friend of John Harrison (Director of Xmile), was guest of honour for Xmile and The Marketing Bureau team were on hand to handle Andy’s press relations for the day, arranging a succession of interviews for TV, radio and press. His wife, children, mother and father accompanied him. Graham Priaulx (Andy’s father and publicist), said:

“ We enjoyed the day tremendously and the weather was superb on the day. The floats were spectacular and it was pleasant and amusing to see Andy, who is double world motor racing champion, being DRIVEN for a change, sitting on the back of the Xmile branded Austin Healey. Top marks go to Julie and Sara from "The Marketing Bureau Ltd" for their event presentation, excellent branding for Xmile, their attention to detail in hospitality and for looking after us and valued guests in a organized and welcoming manner. They simply couldn't have done better.”

Andy kick started the battle by being driven up and down the parade in an Austin Healy 3000.

Andy Priaulx is who has also been made lifetime ambassador for Guernsey. He was born and lives in Guernsey with his wife and two children. He has received accolades including British Competition and Club Driver of the year from readers of Autosport, the BRDC Gold Star and BRDC Gold Star and BARC Gold Medal from the sport, and Channel Islands and BBC (SW) Sports Personality of the Year.
